“Early on I made the mistake of assuming that business-focused, high-level discussions about problems and products to solve them was adequate information with which to design and create products! How very wrong I was!

Working with you to create UX focused research showed me how questions can be asked to genuinely learn about a problem or need versus simply reinforcing my pre-conceived notions about that user or problem.

Trusting you to guide us through a process of learning, observations, personas etc. has been a revelation into the true meaning of empathy in product development.

I have come to appreciate that designing products to solve specific problems, for specific, primary end user personas is crucial to creating truly delightful products that solve real problems without the waste, cost and frustration that typically accompanies software.”

Jerra brings true passion to the Future Roads product. With that passion she has been able to keep focused dialogs establishing OKR's through design techniques and a clear expertise in driving virtual conversations through Miro. The input into the overall look and feel of the launch MVP was with an emphasis on the personas we were targeting.

Jerra truly shines with her awareness around design techniques in everything she does. From hosting meetings, taking feedback from clients and hosting training. Her approach is truly appreciated by everyone so much to the point of people wanting to record her presentations for others to learn the best approach. This is a testament to how a product should be presented and trained to user groups.

FEEDBACK FROM GM TEAM

“You are a strong organizer and facilitator, and our team would be lost without you! Not only that, but your ability to mold UX processes to fit within the constraints of GM and remote work deserves a big round of applause. You are thoughtful, extremely organized, and always thinking 10 steps ahead. You are the definition of "a champion for the user" - always advocating for their needs, never backing down or taking crap from anyone!”

Sr. UX Designer, GM Future Roads design team
